Visit from an old friend

Last weekend, a friend of mine was in from out of town.  He is a good bowler, so I was asking for some bowling advice.  He didn’t really tell me a whole lot, other than practice and have good equipment.  We didn’t go bowling, but we went to dinner and played some cards for a while.  I was just glad to see him.  We used to be best friends, but he moved out of state after he got married.  I wish he lived closer, because most my other friends just want to stay at home and never do anything anymore.  Now I’ll have to return the favor and visit him in a few months.
