Movado Semi Moon was inspired by a piece that Movado made in 1914 and is engraved on the case back with “A tribute to Movado’s history of innovation.  Original design, circa 1914.”  It features Swiss quartz movement inside of a stainless steel case that is shaped like a half moon.  A sapphire crystal protects the dial.  It is water resistant to 30 meters.  The dial is ivory with retro style numerals in an Arabic font done in gold.  The hour and minute hands are leaf shaped with black shadow applied.  It is finished with a tan alligator strap with a stainless steel buckle.
