Given the fact that many people are getting married later in life it is not uncommon to see this situation happening very often. But, what is the best way to introduce the new baby to the dog? You would want to train your dog to accept the baby, and a very important step to facilitate this is to have the dog neutered or spayed, if he or she are not. A neutered or spayed dog will be calmer and will have less tendencies to mark territory inside the house. Having a dog that gets along with kids is also a plus in handling this situation.
