The Indicators Provide the Clues

The indicators are simply different methods of displaying past price action, from which the skilled analyst attempts to discern from the evidence the direction in which prices might move next. Technical Analysis is the study of all of these price-derived Indicators. As compared to fundamental analysis, technical analysis is highly judgmental and interpretational. It is an art rather than a science. It does not operate in accordance with the laws of physics, even as the stock market itself is not governed by the laws of physics since it is a reflection of human psychology.
