Today with more and more emphasis on green energy residential wind power is more popular than ever. My husband and I are building a new home. We’re definitely installing a wind turbine in our new home. We realize that we won’t be able to generate our own power totally, but the savings can be amazing. As we plan to live in this home for many years to come we’ll have even more time to realize savings. Some states give tax incentives to homeowners who install wind turbines and energy companies will pay you for excess electricity that your turbines produce.
