There has come a time where we are using paper less and electronics more. Instead of a letter we send an email. Instead of writing checks, we use electronic bill pay. I have not bought a wall calendar this year because my trusty phone has a calendar on it.

With all this convenience there lies a problem: electronic have a reputation of failing, crashing, or just stop working. This happened to me and I lost all my appointments. Do you know how hard it is as financial planner to lose all your appointments? It was quit a task getting all of them rescheduled.

So I guess I will learn from my mistake and buy a backup calendar.
