7:16 am Miscellaneous

For nature lovers, there is always something fun to do in the Glacier National Park in Montana. More than two million people visit this beautiful park each and every year. Most people who come to the park plan to spend at least a wee k and end up staying at one of the local lodges or camping in the park. Both choices are great, and both will keep you close to all the action the park has to offer. While at the park, you can take a guided tour with one of the rangers, who can teach you about the history of the park and some of its wild denizens. Take a boat cruise where you can learn about the geology of the park, or learn about the unique culture of the Blackfoot Indians that call the area their home. You can even take a guided horseback ride through the wilderness or explore deep into the interior on an extended, guided trip. It is a great chance to experience true wilderness.Wherever you are in the park, you will never find yourself with a shortage of things to see and do. Be sure to keep your camera handy, because you never know when the next great “Kodak moment” will arise.
