Trip to the In-laws

So yesterday after work my wife told me she wanted to go to visit her parents. Now I know that most people really don’t like their in-laws, but I honestly don’t have problems with mine. They really like me and I’m cool with them. So we drove out there, the drive is a pain, I hate driving, but other than that it was fine. When we got there my mother-in-law was looking for some chicken casserole recipes her mother had given her before she passed away. My wife and her sat down at the kitchen table and talked for a while and I plopped down on the couch and took a nap. We had dinner when I woke up and after that we all watched a bit of tv. After a couple hours my wife and I said goodbye and headed back home. The drive was a pain once more, but I’m getting used to it.
