The Boise Art Museum in Idaho is a wonderful place to view a variety of artwork in intriguing exhibitions. The Permanent Collection of artwork at the Museum includes 20th century American Art as well as non-western artwork and some European works, as well. Items from the Boise Art Museum’s Permanent Collection are displayed in interesting themed exhibits, and traveling exhibitions are also featured at the Museum. Elegance of Form is an ongoing exhibit that features artwork from the Museum’s Permanent Collection. Artwork in this exhibit was chosen to illustrate, compare and contrast line, shape, form, texture and color – the formal elements of art. There is currently an exhibit featuring artwork by an Idaho artist on display at the Boise Art Museum. Gerri Sayler’s Ad Infinitum work featuring 900 filigreed strands of hot glue is presently being installed on site. Several programs including art talks and tours as well as art classes are scheduled at the Boise Art Museum regularly. You can check the schedule of programs and events online.
