Baking with Raisin Bran Cereal

Raisin Bran isn’t just a cold cereal anymore. You can actually bake some awesome cookies and muffins with it. To start baking with raisin bran cereal, soften the cereal in a bit of milk and add them to your favorite muffin or cookie recipe.

The next step is to try one of the many recipes specifically designed for this type of cereal. Just do a google search for "raisin bran recipe" and you’ll find quite a few things to try.

After that you can of course branch out into other similar cerals. Grape Nut is fun to bake with and regular corn flakes make just about the perfect coating for fried chicken.

Cooking and baking with cereal is a lot of fun and it always surprises me what huge variety of dishes people come up with using them as a main ingredient.
