Helping Grandma Around the House
February 28, 2010 3:52 am Home and FamilyWhen I was a kid, I can remember my dad always helping his Grandma around the house with repairs or whatever she couldn’t do. He always said that I would have to carry on the tradition with his mom because its a grandma and grandson thing. I assured him I would, but my 13 year old self had no idea what I would have to do. Today I have to help my cousins replace Grandma’s seamless rain gutters. This wouldn’t be a problem for most guys, but I’m a regular klutz when it comes to anything resembling handyman work! I’ve been able to help Grandma so far on my own, but this may be my last project before I turn it over to one of my cousins.
