Preparation for Tai Chi Chuan Exercises

Certain rules should be followed before starting Tai Chi Chuan exercises. First of all, you should place your feet firmly. Concentrate slightly on the below belly button and release your breath at this area. Keep your palms facing rear side and keep your elbows loose.

Feel a sensation of pushing at your palms center. Lift both of the arms up to chest level while inhaling deep. Keep your hands relaxed and don’t raise shoulders. Keep your elbows pointing downwards. Press down both hands until they reach lower belly button. Squat down till your knees cover toes. Finally, return palms to staring position facing backward.
