Looking into mobility scooters

My Mother is not able to get around very well anymore. She has had several surgeries over the last few years and all of the time she has spent recovering in bed has left her legs so weak. Even after rehabilitation she still is not able to get around well. We are looking into mobility scooters to see if that is a good choice for her. She has medicare and her doctor said they should cover it but if not they are not nearly as expensive as I thought they would be. I am just not sure what brand to buy?
