I was driving by the mall the other day and I saw a humongous sign posted on a billboard stating there was a tent event coming to town this weekend. I really love organic foods. I buy them whenever I can. Lately I have been trying to avoid high fructose corn syrup and partially hydrogenated oil, and I know if I buy organic products these can’t be ingredients, so it saves me time reading labels. Also, I want to support the organic farmers by putting my money where my mouth is and buying their products. I don’t want more pesticides in my water and in the soil, I really think organic farming is the way to go. Besides, the food tastes great, though it is a little pricey sometimes so I have to pick and choose what I buy.

The weather is so beautiful outside right now. I need to go out there and try planting some new shrubs and flowers. I’ll have to get my mother to give me some gardening tips though. I’m more a cook and don’t know much about gardening, but she is in her garden every day and she has some beautiful roses and flowers. One tip she told me was to get some good gardening tools.
