I have always really wondered about sharepoint consulting. What is so great about it? I mean sharepoint designer has pretty much all the tools you need from workflows and everything to do what you want. I don’t know why we would ever need to hire a consultant or a couple of consultants. I mean ya, if you want to integrate the product with something else, then maybe you do need a sharepoint consultant or two. But for a little old meat-packing company, I can’t help but reject my It team’s claims that they need to add to the sharepoint internal team.
