Recently my friend has issued a living will directive, because he does not want to suffer late in life. Artificial prolonging of life during the later years of a person’s life can cause that person to suffer. My friend did not want to live as a vegetable late in life, so he filled out and issued his own living will directive so his physician may not put him under life-prolonging treatments.
