Wedding photojournalist or Studio?

Are you getting married and having trouble deciding what type of photographer to hire for your wedding.  Some basic things to know about photographers should start with their style.  A wedding photojournalist will take candid photos without doing anything to manipulate the moment or stage it.  Of course they will shoot portraits but they mostly observe the day and take pictures of things as they unfold.  Studio photographers usually come prepared with a list of photographs to shoot.  These are more traditional shots, such as the groom checking his watch and fixing his bow tie.  The photojournalist will take these photos too but only if they happen naturally.  Studio photographers usually take photos with a portable backdrop too.
